HOW TO GET INVOLVED

For the 2020-2021 academic year, African Film Society will be hosting asynchronous, remote events online. At the beginning of each month, we will reach out to our members via email to provide them with access to our "movie of the month." About halfway through the month, we will release a video composed by the executive board, which will offer a brief summary and analysis of the film in relation to the club’s goals (i.e. expanding understanding of the depth/complexity of African diasporic cultures). These communications will also be available on Slack.

Thereafter, continued discussion of the film would be held via Slack, a private online discussion forum, for the remainder of the month. Hence, it is critical to be a part of our mailing list to gain access to our Slack channel as well as stay updated on any other information!
